Breakfast was very plentiful. Situation very good. Very clean.
TV did not work, no channels received. But they were only there for one night and did not complain about it.

we were given a room that was not ready yet and we were the ones who told them. After waiting for an hour, they only offered us a drink as compensation. When we asked for a late checkout as compensation they refused.

The room is beautiful with Italianate furniture matched everywhere, and after walking for 45 minutes through the streets of Venice from the railway station we certainly appreciated the air conditioning. The staff are excellent - after our London experience it was a pleasure to find a Concierge who knows what his job entails. The breakfasts are delicious and the staff are very courteous and friendly. This is one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Also we did not expect a free boat ride through the canals of Venice and a tour of a very large Glass factory.
